Gates 8th Grade Promotion Night Important Information to Families

Grade 8 Promotion Ceremony: Tuesday, June 17, 2025 6:00PM in the Scituate High School Large Gymnasium

  • Students should meet in the Gates Dining Commons at 5:30PM and we will proceed to SHS together as a class. Families are invited to this special event to celebrate students’ promotion to high school. Typically students dress up for this event.
  • Immediately following the promotion ceremony, eighth grade students are invited back to Gates for pizza, ice cream, and socializing. Yearbooks will be distributed to those students that ordered them and a special video will be played to honor the class. Students should be picked up by their parent/caregiver by 8:30PM.
