American Legion Speech Competition Winners

Each year the Social Studies department collaborates with Scituate Post 144 of the American Legion to facilitate the American Legion Oratorical Contest.  Students who choose to participate give an 8-10 minute speech explaining how an aspect of the Constitution connects to the duties and obligations of citizens to our government.  The American Legion Post 144 fundraises throughout the year to award over $2,000 in scholarships to the top three winners.
