Wampatuck Wave

As we finish up our MCAS testing, we look forward to celebrations in learning and year end events. There is still much to do as we count down the last weeks of the school year. As we begin to have our end of year events and grade level celebrations, it is a time for you to celebrate your student. To reduce the congestion, we remind you that siblings may not attend these events.
Wampatuck Welcomed the Class of 2038
Our Kindergarten Orientation gave us an opportunity to meet next year’s kindergarten students. It also was a time for the children to meet future friends along with their parents. We will have another smaller orientation in August before school begins so that your child can meet their teacher and a few classmates.
Spring Into Kindness - PTO Fundraiser
Our “Spring Into Kindness” raised $23,000 for the PTO to fund events and the “wish list” to improve the learning experience for all students here at Wampatuck School. We thank you for your generosity in supporting this worthwhile endeavor and look forward to new experiences.
Wampatuck Teachers Thank You!
In celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week, we thank you for your generosity and support. Each day brought a new surprise and treat for all to enjoy. Thank you for your support last week and throughout the school year.

The goal is to provide awareness as well as support disability and inclusive opportunities. Please go to Mal's Pals Foundation for more information.
A Message from Ms. Edgren, School Psychologist
Dear Wampatuck Community,
I am writing to let you know of my retirement at the end of this school year. My role at Wampatuck has allowed me endless opportunities to be involved with students, families, staff and the community for close to twenty years. It truly has been a privilege to have had the chance to be a part of so many lives. My heart is full with so many cherished memories that will always be a part of me. I realize it has been said countless times, but Wampatuck is a unique, caring, supportive community that I will miss immensely. Thank you for the opportunity to work with your children over the years to help them develop into themselves.
I wish all the best for the future,
Deb Edgren, School Psychologist
